Wrote... Roy S. Hathaway was my grandfather, who had a fraternal twin named, John Hathaway who was a missionary in Sudan for 25 yrs. I was born in 1938. I had an uncle named Clyde Hathaway who lived in Calf. and an aunt Ruth Hathaway who lived in Spokane, WA. Seems like many of my Hathaway kin are also named from the first names of Hathaway's many yrs. ago. Many were preachers. Also, I wonder if there may be any Jewish blood in us Hathaways. So many of the earlier first names were Old Testament names. I also think of the the Kohath tribe in the Old Testament and wonder if there may be a contection.
